Overview

Sweatr is an endurance sports app that helps runners, cyclists, and triathletes fuel and hydrate smarter. We believe your data is yours. We collect as little as possible, never sell it, and only use anonymised information to improve the product.

Information we collect

Analytics (anonymised): We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled to understand how people use our website. This collects aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic region. No individual user can be identified from this data.

Contact & support forms: When you submit a contact or support form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not stored in any database — it exists only in our email inbox.

Health and workout data: Sweatr integrates with services like Garmin, Strava, and Apple Health. Any health or workout data processed by Sweatr remains on your device or with the respective third-party service. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your personal health data on our servers.

How we use your information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Respond to your contact and support requests
  • Understand general usage patterns to improve the website and app (via anonymised analytics only)
  • Ensure the security and proper functioning of our services

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described here.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies and Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking cookies. Google Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic patterns — no personally identifiable information is collected through them.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics — anonymised website analytics
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Zoho Mail — processing contact and support form submissions

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you have concerns.

Data retention

Contact and support form submissions are retained in our email inbox only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry. We do not maintain a separate database of user information. Anonymised analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' standard retention policies.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Information is only shared with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purposes described in this policy.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data from our email records
  • Opt out of analytics by using browser-level tools such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at move@sweatr.co.

Children

Sweatr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
